The Opportunity
The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the project team, with a strong focus on site compliance, inductions, purchase orders, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of site-based contract administration activities.
What you will do
- Coordinate and manage site compliance and inductions, ensuring all requirements remain current and are organised ahead of expiry.
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support the invoicing process, with the ability to learn internal billing requirements and systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support project and site administration activities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to help keep administrative workflows running smoothly across site and branch-based support.
- Assist with organising personnel requirements for site access, ensuring nothing is left to the last minute.
- Use internal systems confidently to enter, update, and track relevant information.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team as required.
- Help ensure documentation is complete, current, and aligned with operational needs.
- Contribute to an efficient and well-organised site administration function through strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Role Located: Curragh / Emerald region, QLD
What we are looking for
- Experience in an administrative role such as Contracts Administrator, Branch Administrator, Service Administrator, or similar.
- Exposure to mine site compliance, inductions, or workforce mobilisation processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep documentation accurate and current.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong general computer skills, including Excel, and the ability to pick up internal systems quickly.
- A current Queensland driver licence and the ability to travel to site.
- Ability to obtain required site access requirements, including S11 and medical clearance if needed.
- Industry experience or experience in environments where compliance and site access are critical will be highly regarded.
