The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, we are currently seeking a Fleet Coordinator for a 12 month fixed-term contract either fulltime or part-time (4 days per week or 5 days per week with reduced hours). The ideal candidate will have a can do attitude, positive mindset and the drive to improve efficiency and implement best practice!
Based at our Campbellfield branch the Fleet Coorindator will be respobsible for coordinating the daily activities associated with the repairs/preparation/servicing/maintenance of Fleet Vehicles and Assets for South East Region, facilitating compliance to the OHS management system in line with relevant lease or rental Agreements, focusing on cost saving efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee and co-ordinate all Fleet Vehicle and Asset movements
- To support and monitor the preparation of CAPEX requests and approvals, ensuring replacements are organised in good time.
- Manage, monitor and circulate Fuel and Toll information as required.
- Manage, monitor and circulate to relevant leaders, any vehicle infringement or investigation information.
- Ensure that all estimates for repairs and variations comply with Komatsu Policy and Procedures.
- Assist with the coordination of Orix / Supplier returns & deliveries.
- To ensure routine inspections of all fleet vehicles and assets are completed by utilizing process control documents ensuring that all required paperwork is completed and stored appropriately.
- Maintain Fleet and Asset Registers for the South East Region including the preparation and circulation of all monthly reporting.
- To analyse monthly reports relative to performance versus required KPI’s in the respective SLA’s.
- Carry out regular reviews of all Fleet related practices for continuous improvement via planned review meetings with relative stakeholders.
- Facilitate and maintain records compliance for ISO 45001 (Occupational health and safety management systems & monitor safe operation of the workshop by conducting quarterly feel safety audits in partnership with HSE Manager.
- Work effectively and efficiently with all branches, departments and regions.
What we are looking for:
- Strong and professional communication skills in a variety of mediums.
- Positive, ethical work attitude, dependable and reliable manner.
- Knowledge of the heavy equipment business and products.
- Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
- Experience using Estimate templates and systems
- Strong understanding of Earthmoving machinery
- Thorough knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft products, strong understanding of maintenance planning and parts interpreting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
