The Opportunity

We have an exciting internal opportunity for a National Purchasing & FFO Officer to join our Supply Chain team with a preference for Brisbane.

Reporting to the National Purchasing Supervisor, this role plays an important part in ensuring Komatsu parts are available where and when our customers need them. You’ll manage purchasing activities from purchase order through to delivery, working across our national network to resolve supply issues, raise firm future orders (FFO), expedite priority orders and support strong customer outcomes.

You’ll work closely with teams across Parts Supply, Purchasing, Planning, Master Data, Accounts Payable, Logistics and our warehouses, as well as our OEM suppliers and freight partners and the Brisbane DC with shovel shutdowns

What We’re Looking For:

This could be a great opportunity if you already have experience across Parts, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Logistics or another operational area and are looking to broaden your knowledge and build your career within Komatsu.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Purchasing and/or vendor management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
• Good Excel capability.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Confidence communicating and building relationships across different areas of the business.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach when priorities change or supply challenges arise.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
