The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, we are currently seeking a Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, positive mindset, and the drive to improve efficiency and implement best practice.
Based at our Wacol branch, the Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities associated with the repairs/preparation/servicing/maintenance of Fleet Vehicles for North East Region, facilitating compliance to the OHS management system in line with relevant lease or rental Agreements, focusing on cost saving efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee and co-ordinate all Fleet Vehicle movements
- To support and monitor the preparation of CAPEX requests and approvals, ensuring replacements are fit for purpose, in line with cost efficiency initiatives, and organised in good time.
- Manage, monitor and circulate to relevant leaders, any vehicle infringement or investigation information.
- To ensure routine inspections of all fleet vehicles and assets are completed by utilising process control documents ensuring that all required paperwork is completed and stored appropriately.
- Maintain Fleet Register for the Region including the preparation and circulation of all monthly reporting.
- Carry out regular reviews of all Fleet related practices for continuous improvement via planned review meetings with relative stakeholders.
- Work effectively and efficiently with all branches, departments and regions.

- Strong and professional communication skills in a variety of mediums and wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Positive, ethical work attitude, dependable and reliable manner.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the heavy equipment business and products.
- Experience using Estimate templates and systems
- Thorough knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft products, strong understanding of maintenance planning and parts interpreting software.
